Stacy E. King, PT, DPT, OCS, CIMT, CSCS

Stacy King received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana, and is a nationally recognized expert in injury prevention in adolescent athletes. A former Terrapin scholarship gymnast, Dr. King received her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in 1993. She became a personal trainer focusing on post rehabilitation and prehabilitation training before heading on to graduate school where she completed her MS in Physical Therapy at Marymount University. She went on to obtain her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2012 which designates her as an advanced clinician in orthopedic physical therapy. Dr. King has worked as a Pilates instructor for Cirque De Soleil’s Totem (2012), Amaluna (2014), and Kurious (2016), Washington DC and has served on a panel of experts in the area of youth injury and injury prevention. She consults regularly to parents and coaches about adolescent sports injuries and physical therapy. Dr. King’s clinical focus is to help all individuals receive the most advanced clinical care possible with a special interest in adolescent athletes and injury prevention in the Washington, DC area.
